Nice to meet you. I’m Shelley.

Before founding Studio Shelley, I spent two decades in senior HR roles within fast-paced, high-growth technology companies — including time working alongside teams in Silicon Valley. I understand what relentless calendars, constant decisions, and high expectations feel like.

That experience shaped how I run my studio today. When you operate at that level professionally, your home shouldn’t feel like another unfinished project. You want it handled.

Properly.

She is wearing a floral blouse, light blue pants, and white sneakers, with a black smartwatch on her left wrist. Behind her is a framed landscape painting of a pathway through greenery, and there are warm wall lights. Potted plants and flowers are visible nearby.

My move into interior design wasn’t impulsive — it was intentional. It came from a deep understanding of how space, colour, and texture can support and restore us. After experiencing an ectopic pregnancy, I discovered the restorative power of my own home: a sanctuary to recover, reflect, and regain energy. Colour and pattern became more than decoration; they became tools for emotional restoration.

That insight drives every project at Studio Shelley. Every home I design is approached with intention: it must be beautiful, functional, and emotionally supportive. Colour and pattern aren’t just aesthetic choices — they’re purposeful, layered, and deeply personal and a way to show your true personality that will enhance how you live.

I specialise in rich palettes, bold patterns, and bespoke detailing — designing homes that restore you after relentless days, reflect your success, and work effortlessly for family life and entertaining. Behind the creativity is structure; behind the design is precision.

Based in Surrey, I work across Hampshire, Berkshire, and SW London, partnering with ambitious professionals who value considered design, expert coordination, and exceptional craftsmanship.

This is not about trends. It is about creating spaces that endure — and support the people living in them.

If that resonates, I would love to begin the conversation.
